Oooh cotton/spandex blend.
Today I actually found a stretch fiber in my shorts. I cut a pair of holey jeans into shorts for the summer, and you know how they fray? Well first of all I think stretch jeans are much weaker than 100% cotton ones because otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten holes after less than a year. But anyways, I was pulling one of the frayed threads out of my shorts and it plucked like hair, not like cotton. Upon closer examination, I noticed that this was not hair, it was in fact an elastic, spandex thread spun into the cotton fibers. Fascinating!
I wonder if my stomach is actually all the way better yet. Because tonight I was swinging with Angela and Ashley and I seriously felt queasy the whole drive home and still right now. After freaking swinging in a park. This is not good if I am going to be going to King’s Island in two days.

Oh no, I hope you are not still sick! That would be terrible. YOU should get online or something. I am on AIM and its been forever since we’ve had a good conversation via internet.
Can you tell the difference in comfort or form or whatever between jeans that are 100% cotton and jeans that have elastic in them? I would think that jeans with elastic might be a bit more comfy, but I don’t know anything about fabric except what you occasionally mention.
ps: Whats up with the anyway[s]?
lol!
I much prefer stretch jeans to regular in the sense that they are much less restricting in terms of body movement, and that’s important to me. But I think the fabric is less durable though because it’s thinner, generally speaking. And a lot of people (and I know this because I sell jeans) actually hate stretch jeans. Admittedly stretch jeans do not retain their shape as well, however, because they get stretched out faster. I just got a new pair of stretch jeans, and I know I will have to wash my new jeans more often than my non-stretch jeans because after only a couple of wearings, they got too baggy.
PS I noticed the anyways after I published, but I didn’t feel like going back to edit it.
